Do you still remember what was in your suitcase?

Weeks before the trip you photograph whatever should come along. While packing you tick things off and assign them. At the airport the baggage tag joins the card. And if a suitcase goes missing, you have exactly what the airline asks for.

The loss is the reason, not the extra

Nobody keeps a packing list for weeks so that packing gets easier. You do it when it gives you something you would not otherwise have: the moment at the baggage belt, suitcase gone, and the airline wants to know what was inside.

Bag set to Missing with the loss report button below
If a bag goes missing, the report is built from what is already there.

If you can itemise it, you get paid. If you cannot, you get a flat rate. Photo of the case, number from the baggage tag, list of the contents — that is what this app is built for.

Two kinds of card

The things

Everything that should come along. Photographed whenever it occurs to you — weeks ahead, not the night before.

Every item with a photo — and the colour of the bag it sits in.

The luggage

Suitcase, rucksack, cabin bag. Plus the baggage tag from the desk, which ties the card to the real piece.

From packing to the journey home

While packing you tick things off and assign each one to a piece of luggage. After that you always know: what did I want to take, what is packed, and which case is it in.

Check-off list with items ticked per bag
Tick things off as you pack: you see at once what is missing.

For the journey home the same thing runs in reverse. And if something is missing, the app produces a report with everything that belongs on the form at the desk.

Not only on a plane

The baggage tag comes from the desk. Where there is none, the card still holds everything — photo, contents, and a number you give it yourself. On a train, on a coach, in the car to the holiday flat the question is the same: what was meant to come along, which bag is it in, and what is missing on the way back.

On a flight someone at the desk asks what was inside. Otherwise it is the insurer who asks — and both want to hear the same thing.
